Two little girls in Pink Vintage Princess and Purple Amulet Princess dress ups and making Chocolate Chip Cookies.

These cookies have been @AnnaJoyPhotography ‘s favorite since before she can remember, and she has decided to share that recipe with us:

I used to make them with my grandma, she passed the recipe on to me, and now my girls and I make them all the time!

  • 1 Cup butter, soften
  • 3/4 Cup white sugar
  • 3/4 Cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 2 1/4 Cups flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 12oz package (or 2 cups) chocolate chips
  • Optional (but highly recommend!)
  • 3/4 Cup of walnuts, chopped
  • 3/4 Cup shredded, unsweetened coconut flakes
  • 3/4 Cup rolled oats (oatmeal)
  • Preheat over to 350°f
  • Cream together the butter, white and brown sugar. Next, add the eggs and vanilla.
  • In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Combine dry ingredients together with the wet ingredients. After it is mixed well, fold in the chocolate chips, oats, walnuts and coconut.
  • Scoop about a tablespoon size onto a greased (or parchment paper-lined) baking sheet about an inch apart.
  • Bake at 350° for 9-11 minutes.
  • Transfer to cooling rack. Best enjoyed warm with a glass of milk!

I hope you enjoy these cookies as much as my girls and I do!
